A film by Gerard Straub
Running Time: 57 Min. © 2003
An introspective look at our spirituality, set forth with meditative pictures, music, and narration by Gerard Thomas Straub. This film explores more deeply the contemplative dimension in other San Damiano films that focus more extensively on the suffering of the poor, the homeless, the lepers, and migrant people of the world. It expands on the necessity of a deeply prayerful spirituality for confronting poverty and growing in solidarity with the poor. It draws from the wisdom of St. Benedict, St. Francis of Assisi, Thomas Merton, and Thomas Keating. By doing so, it challenges you to give yourself away in service to God and to others.
